La deuxième session de l’Assemblée de l’ONU-Habitat (organe universel composé des 193 États membres des Nations unies et convoqué tous les quatre ans) se tiendra du 5 au 9 juin 2023 au siège d’ONU-Habitat à Nairobi, au Kenya.
Le thème de la session est “Un avenir urbain durable grâce à un multilatéralisme inclusif et efficace : atteindre les objectifs de développement durable en temps de crise mondiale.” Plus d’informations et le projet de programme sont disponibles ici.
Le jeudi 8 matin sera consacré à l’Assemblée mondiale des gouvernements locaux et régionaux, ainsi qu’à la session sur la localisation (qui aura pour thème spécial les finances).

CIB Annual Meeting 2023 in Marrakech
During the annual meeting of the CIB Working Group, professionals of Local Government Associations (LGAs) and local governments responsible for substantive programmes in capacity development and development cooperation will gather to exchange information and knowledge on the latest trends in our sector, with special attention for the perspective of the Global South. Aside from various group discussions and interactive world cafés, aimed at peer learning and knowledge sharing, various international and national key note speakers will be invited to the City of Marrakech, to provide informative presentations, case studies and best practices.
The venue of the meeting will be the Cadi Ayyad University. All other practical details are enclosed in the logistical note attached, that includes information on transport and visa requirements etc. The draft program of the Annual Meeting is also provided in the attachments.
