Call of the Urban 20 Climate Finance Working Group
During the New York Climate Week in September 2023, the Urban 20 Climate Finance Working Group led by the cities of Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro with the support of U20 co-conveners UCLG and C40 Cities released a statement calling on national governmebnts, development finance institutions and the private sector to work with local and regional governments to accelerate availability and access to urban climate finance.
