In the framework of the 7th World Urban Forum, which will take place in Medellin (Colombia) from 5 to 11 April 2014, the Committee on Social Inclusion, Participatory Democracy and Human Rights of UCLG will co-organize different activities. The agenda of the 7th World Urban Forum will include a range of other important sessions for local and regional governments.

In the framework of the  7^th World Urban Forum, which will take place in Medellin (Colombia) from 5 to 11 April 2014, the Committee on Social Inclusion, Participatory Democracy and Human Rights of UCLG will co-organize the following activities:  

• Networking event 1: “The relevance of the right to the city in Habitat III” – to be confirmed – (co-organized with Polis Institute – Brazil and Habitat International Coalition)
• Networking event 2: “Scaling the Participatory Budgeting in the world for urban equity in development and local fiscal system”- (co-organized with ASSOAL – Cameroon and others institutions)
• Workshop 1: “How to learn and implement the right to the city? Building democratic and sustainable cities” (co-organized with Polis Institute – Brazil and Habitat International Coalition)
• Workshop 2: “Growing + equal: shaping experiences of participatory budgeting for the youth. Tools and examples” (co-organized with the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra – Portugal and others institutions)
