The Committee DAL publishes new issue of the Magazine D+

The Committee on Decentralization and Local Self Governments has published the sixth issue of D+ Magazine, instrument for the dissemination and discussion of topics related to decentralisation and local governance. The present edition includes articles on the role of public-private partnership in improving the management of water services.
The Committee on Decentralization and Local Self Governments has published the sixth issue of D+ Magazine, instrument for the dissemination and discussion of topics related to decentralisation and local governance.
The present edition includes articles on the role of public-private partnership in improving the management of water services and sanitation, the new relationships that are emerging in Canada between the federal level and municipal level, and the Commonwealth of Catalonia on the centenary of its creation.
Furthermore, it offers an analysis on the main conclusions of the World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders that was held in Rabat, and presents the review of the Third Global Report on Local Democracy and Decentralisation (GOLD III) on access to basic services for all in an urbanizing world.
Finally, this edition includes an interview with Jean-Marie Tétart, Houdan Mayor and Deputy of the French National Assembly, and stands as a good practice the Agora of the Cities, the meeting with mayors and experts from Latin America, the Mediterranean and Europe aimed to promote dialogue and exchange of knowledge about local governance.
