Solidarity with Brussels

With heavy hearts we once again express our deepest condolences and sympathy to the Mayor of Brussels and to our CEMR colleagues on behalf of the World Secretariat and our broader network of local governments. Following the tragic events this morning our thoughts are with the people of Brussels and Belgium and the families of the victims of the attacks on Zaventem airport and Maelbeek metro station.

We stand together against terrorism in all forms, united for peace in the midst of the difficult times our world is facing.

We, UCLG, once again condemn this violence and express our solidarity with the city of Brussels.
